Big Brother 27: Week 4 HoH Crowned As New Power Emerges and Alliances Shift

The third eviction of Big Brother 27 is behind us, and the house is already shifting into high gear for Week 4. Adrian was evicted in an 8-4 vote against Will, following Kelley’s second Blockbuster win of the week. With Adrian gone, all eyes are on which familiar faces could be hitting the Block again—unless someone new takes control and flips the script.

Will we see Keanu, Kelley, and Will back on the nomination radar? Or will the house finally break the cycle with a fresh set of nominees? The power to shake things up has arrived—but whether it’s used remains to be seen.

Head of Household Competition Results:

  • Rylie is the new Head of Household.

After a long night of competition, Rylie emerged victorious as the Week 4 HoH. But in classic Big Brother fashion, there’s a twist that could upend everything: Mickey’s “Takeover Power.”

Mickey has held onto this secret ability, which grants her the option after any HoH comp to hijack the week’s leadership by becoming a shadow HoH. If she activates it this week, Rylie would have to interrogate the houseguests and figure out who’s trying to steal their power. If Rylie correctly identifies Mickey, he keeps control. If not, Mickey takes over as the stealth HoH, controlling nominations from behind the scenes.

What Mickey’s Power  Means while Alliance Dynamics Create Strategic Complexity

After Mickey Lee executed her secret HOH overthrow power, initially targeting Rylie after he had won the Head of Household competition. Rylie had been considering nominations including Ashley Hollis, Mickey Lee, and Morgan Pope, positioning himself to make significant strategic moves that could reshape house dynamics.

However, Mickey’s calculated use of her special power completely upended these plans, transforming her from potential nominee to the actual Head of Household. The twist created additional confusion when Rylie incorrectly suspected Ashley Hollis of being responsible for his overthrow, demonstrating how the season’s mystery elements continue creating misinformation and strategic misdirection.

Rylie guessed wrong.

The Mastermind twist has turned the Big Brother 27 house upside down once again. Just hours after Rylie won the Head of Household competition, Mickey shocked everyone by using her secret power to steal the throne.

Back in Week 2, the Mastermind twist introduced three powers into the game. Keanu and Kelley quickly used two of them during Veto competitions. That left Mickey’s HOH Takeover and Zach’s Nomination Replacement still in play—until now.

When the live feeds returned after more than two hours, viewers saw a heartbreaking moment. Rylie sat in silence on the upstairs lounge couch, clearly devastated. Katherine and Ashley comforted him as he struggled to hold back tears. His time as HOH had ended almost as quickly as it began.

Mickey Takes Control

Now in full control, Mickey has moved into the HOH room and begun planning her nominations. The takeover is no longer a secret. She made her move, and it worked.

This twist dealt a serious blow to Rylie, but Big Brother rarely plays fair. If he had identified Mickey, she likely would’ve become one of his nominees. Instead, she took a big risk—and it paid off.

What’s Next?

Now that Mickey holds power, her next decision is critical. Will she target Rylie before he can come after her? Or will she shift focus and nominate easier targets?

Her timing was bold, and her move clearly shook the house. But with great power comes a great target.
