The HoH Vince had plenty of conversations throughout the day about what he was going to do. Yet, this was not a situation where there was some tremendous amount of uncertainty in advance; however, it was pretty clear on who he wanted to put on the block this week.
After outlasting the competition in the season’s first endurance battle, Vince locked in his second HOH win. But as always with power, the pressure followed fast. Every conversation he had overnight seemed to shift the target, making his decision all the more unpredictable.

Would Vince protect his newly formed Judges alliance and keep Rachel safe? Or would he bend to Keanu’s push to nominate Rachel and Ashley together? Either way, Vince was guaranteed to upset someone — the question was who.
Big Brother 27 Week 7 Nominations:
- Vince nominated: Ava, Kelley, and Mickey
When the feeds returned, Vince was busy doing damage control. He told Kelley (whom he dubbed a pawn) and Katherine that he didn’t want to risk putting Rachel on the block before the Veto, as he felt she was too much of a competition threat. It’s a bold story — and not a very truthful one. The real plan? Mickey is the target.
Despite some in the house hoping Vince would take a shot at Rachel, it’s clear he’s focused on getting Mickey out. The problem, of course, is that lying to multiple allies this early in the week could come back to haunt him.
Next up: the all-important Veto competition on Saturday, followed by the Veto meeting on Monday. Those results will determine if Vince’s plan holds or blows up in his face. We’ll see it all play out on Wednesday’s episode, but live feeders will have the scoop long before then.
So, what do you think — was Vince smart to go for this HOH win, or did he just put himself in the line of fire again?
