Before the “White Locust” twist flipped the game on its head, the “Judges” alliance — Rachel Reilly, Will Williams, Ashley Hollis, Morgan Pope, and Vince Panaro — appeared to be running Big Brother 27. But when the Mastermind unleashed the “Month of Mayhem,” everything shifted. Rachel was sent packing after a devastating loss in the maniacal maze competition, and days later, Will followed her to jury after Lauren Domingue’s reign as Head of Household.
Both jurors are now reflecting on their shocking exits, what they regret about their games, and what lies ahead with Goldderby.
Rachel Reilly: “I wanted to show I had evolved as a player”
For Rachel, the abrupt exit was especially tough. She didn’t face a single vote, nor was she ever nominated.
“I never expected to be eliminated without receiving a single vote — or even being nominated,” she said. “The twist this season got twisty. I wish I had had a little bit longer in the game to talk my way out or use the ‘Rachel Reilly charm.’ I wasn’t able to save myself when my back was against the wall, and I have no one to blame but myself for not winning that competition.”
Rachel entered the house, determined to prove her growth since her first appearance 15 years ago. “I wanted to play a strong, strategic, and social game. From being a fan to a Big Brother winner, I wanted to come back and show that I had evolved. It’s such a different game from when I first played. At the end of the day, I think I played a good game. I adapted when I needed to, and I was able to strategically form relationships and alliances — even with people I didn’t always get along with. I hope everyone enjoyed watching it.”
As for who she sees as the house’s biggest target, Rachel pointed to Keanu Soto. “He’s such a competitive player. Socially, he’s messy, but he’s doing what he needs to do. If the biggest target makes it to the end, they’re probably going to win. He might be able to pull it out.”
Had she made it to the finale, Rachel already knew who she wanted by her side. “I was truly hoping to sit next to Ashley [Hollis]. She would be my first choice, not only because I think I could have beaten her, but because we had such a great relationship. We were in an alliance from Week 1, and she was my friend in the game. I would have loved to sit next to her, and I think the jury would have voted for me.”

Will Williams: “The lure of the Big Brother house was overwhelming”
For Will, his eviction came right after Rachel’s, but he described his time in the house as unforgettable.
“My favourite moment was walking into the house,” he said. “It was surreal — seeing the decorations, the hammock, and meeting Julie [Chen Moonves]. The lure of the Big Brother house was very overwhelming. I’ll keep that in my heart for a long time.”
But there were parts of the experience he didn’t miss. “The kids are nasty! They left everything everywhere. Folks were using the same towels and washcloths, and they didn’t even care. And the shower was so nasty. There was so much hair in it — and I don’t have any hair, so I know it wasn’t mine,” he joked.
One of Will’s biggest disappointments was missing the chance to meet Zingbot. “I wanted to meet Zingbot so badly because I can take a joke,” he said. “BB Comics was amazing. OTEV was amazing. I did all the cool things you want to do in this house, except for Zingbot. He probably would have made a joke about my wife, or about me sleeping, or zoning out. I would have accepted it and loved it.”
Now, Will is preparing for jury life but admits his heart is already at home. “I’m going to enjoy the process and the full Big Brother experience, but I wish I had a DVR button to fast-forward straight to finale night. I’m ready to see my wife, my kids, and my grand-babies. Sept. 28 can’t come soon enough.”
