Big Brother 27: Frustrations Boil Over and a Potential Backdoor Plan

On Friday, September 5, 2025, the controversial White Locust twist ousted Rachel Reilly without a vote, and the house is still boiling. Less than 24 hours after Mickey Lee was voted out 6–1 over Ashley Hollis.

Additionally, this move has left many houseguests feeling upset. Ave has already complained about how the show is based on challenges now. Meanwhile, Ashley has noted that this is not what she signed up for. Even Vince is frustrated about the idea that they could all be eliminated in ways like this moving forward — even if he did benefit from Rachel’s exit from the game in some form.

By Saturday, September 6, 2025, the game had its answer: Morgan Pope won the Week 9 Veto. The draw featured Lauren, Morgan, Ashley Hollis, and Will Williams, with Vince Panaro and Ava Pearl selected to play. Lauren intended to let someone else take the medallion so she could follow through on a backdoor plan for Keanu Soto — while keeping her fingerprints off the move.

Lauren even considered throwing the competition to preserve deniability. Vince claimed he would throw it, too, though questions linger about his true loyalties. Publicly, he assured Morgan he would protect her. Privately, he has a final two-deal with Lauren. Those competing assurances set up a tense post–Veto chessboard.

Now, for those wondering about where things stand in the game, Lauren has to nominate someone as a replacement. This is frustrating for her since she is literally having to nominate half the house at this point in the game, and if she does put Keanu up (which feels likely), it puts both Ashley and Will in a spot where they are in worse shape. He’s a dominant comp beast, Ashley does not feel like she can win Blockbusters, and Will hurt himself doing the BB Comics yesterday. Would either of them be able to win the competition now?
