Get ready, BB fans! Big Brother 27 is set to kick off on Thursday, July 10, 2025, and CBS has pulled out all the stops this season, expanded runtimes, a brand-new Friday-night show, and up to four nights of drama each week.
Premiere Week: A Bigger, Longer Introduction
Big Brother 27 kicks off with an extra dose of drama right out of the gate. The premiere airs on Thursday, July 10, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and runs for a full 90 minutes, giving fans more time to meet the houseguests, tour the brand-new house, and watch the first strategic moves unfold.
But it doesn’t stop there — CBS is following up with another 90-minute episode on Sunday, July 13, continuing the premiere week momentum. This extended rollout gives viewers two jam-packed nights of content to get familiar with the cast and the format before the regular weekly schedule takes over.
Regular Weekly Schedule (Starting July 16)
CBS has settled into a steady rhythm—here’s what you can expect:
-
Wednesdays – 8–9:30 p.m. ET/PT (90 minutes)
-
Thursdays – 8–9 p.m. ET/PT (standard eviction night)
-
Sundays – 8–9 p.m. ET/PT (gameplay recap)
Note: The Wednesday slot is longer (90 minutes) to dig deeper into competitions and alliances.
Weekly Schedule: Four Nights of Big Brother
Starting the week of Wednesday, July 16, Big Brother settles into its consistent multi-night schedule — and this year, it’s busier than ever.
Every Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT, fans can expect an extended 90-minute episode. These longer episodes dive deeper into competitions, alliance-building, and house drama, offering a more complete picture than the standard hour-long format. Wednesdays are expected to become a key night for strategy developments and competition results.
Thursday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT are reserved for the show’s traditional eviction episodes. Each Thursday, the houseguests cast their votes live (or close to it), and one contestant is sent packing. Expect the usual tension, live audience reactions, and those last-minute pitch sessions in the diary room.
Sundays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT bring a one-hour episode focused on game progression. This night typically showcases Head of Household competitions, nomination ceremonies, and recaps of the week’s major events — ideal for casual viewers who want to stay in the loop.
Big Brother: Unlocked — A New Friday Night Experience
One of the most exciting additions to Big Brother 27 is a new biweekly Friday show called Big Brother: Unlocked. The first episode debuts on Friday, July 25, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT and will continue every other Friday throughout the season.
In this spinoff-style companion series, three returning Big Brother All-Stars will host a full hour of bonus content. Viewers will get to see never-before-seen footage from inside the house, exclusive interviews with evicted houseguests, and analysis of gameplay decisions and alliances. It’s designed to offer die-hard fans an extra layer of insight and entertainment that complements the core episodes.
Future episodes of Big Brother: Unlocked are expected to air on August 8, August 22, September 5, September 19, and September 26 — though these dates may shift slightly depending on CBS’s overall programming schedule.
Mark your calendars: Big Brother 27 premieres Thursday, July 10 at 8/7c on CBS. From that point on, your BB summer will be filled with weekly episodes on Wednesdays (90 mins), Thursdays (evictions), Sundays (recaps), and Fridays (Unlocked, biweekly).
