Big Brother 27 is around the corner, and CBS is promising fans a fun-packed season. A few weeks from now, the new season will premiere on Thursday, July 10, with a 90-minute episode from 8:00-9:30 p.m. ET.
Season 27 of Big Brother is shaping up to be a season full of surprises, and CBS is adding a new spin to keep fans excited. The Big Brother 27 schedule is going to be fun-packed, and starting July 25, they’re starting a bonus show called Big Brother: Unlocked, airing every other Friday at 8 PM ET.
So, what’s this new Big Brother 27 Big Brother Unlocked Friday Episodes
What to Expect from Big Brother: Unlocked
According to CBS, Big Brother: Unlocked will include:
“Three BB All-Stars sharing never-before-seen footage from the house, exclusive interviews, surprise guest appearances, and behind-the-scenes access.”
It’s all about looking into house dynamics, strategies, and moments that won’t be shown in the main episodes. Think of it as an after-party for die-hard BB fans, offering extra insights and fun.
While CBS hasn’t said who the All-Stars will be, we can guess there will be some familiar faces, maybe even past winners or players known for their gameplay.
Tentative Big Brother: Unlocked Air Dates
Here’s the unofficial schedule for Unlocked (this may change):
- Friday, July 25 – 8–9 PM ET
- Friday, August 8 – 8–9 PM ET
- Friday, August 22 – 8–9 PM ET
- Friday, September 5 – 8–9 PM ET

How to Watch Big Brother Season 27
You can catch Season 27 of Big Brother the same way you have in the past:
- CBS (live and primetime)
- Paramount+ with Showtime (includes live feeds and episodes)
- Pluto TV (free access to the Big Brother live feeds)
Will Any Former Houseguests Return?
Not as players. CBS confirmed that this will be the fifth season in a row with a totally new cast, making it the longest stretch without returning players since the show started.
But you can still expect some familiar faces. Past houseguests will likely appear on Unlocked for commentary and to engage with fans.
Taylor Hale (BB24 winner) is expected to be back as the jury roundtable moderator later in the season.
And, of course, Julie Chen Moonves will return as host for Season 27.
With Big Brother Unlocked, CBS is clearly betting on a deeper, more interactive viewing experience. It gives fans a regular outlet for extra content, player analysis, and cast interaction all while building anticipation between regular episodes.
