It seems Rylie’s exit interview happened after all! Following reports that Rylie’s exit press was being moved due to “scheduling conflicts,” clips of the controversial HouseGuest’s interview with host Julie Chen Moonves were published.
The drama on Big Brother season 27 has been escalating to say the least, and last night Rylie Jeffries was evicted amid a ton of backlash over his treatment of Katherine Woodman. And innnterestingly, the show’s normal exit interviews aren’t happening today.
This curveball was confirmed by Entertainment Weekly director Dalton Ross, who tweeted, “FYI, there are no #BB27 exit interviews happening today due to scheduling conflicts.’ Allegedly happening sometime next week. We’ll see…”
Luckily for us, The Sun gave us the interview that we all didn’t think was going to happen and according to the publication, Julie went in on Rylie’s controversial comments…well, kind of.
Per The Sun, Rylie got quizzed about his connection with Katherine, and when asked what “drew” him to his fellow contestant, he answered, “Her smile. The way she actually cares. Where her heart is. She’s absolutely real and I love that about her.” According to him, Katherine made him feel like the “only man in this whole entire world.”

Julie went on to say, “You fell hard and fast for her, and you even told her you plan on marrying her,” which seemed to shock Rylie.
“Yeah, I do. I did say that,” he replied, adding, “I can’t believe y’all heard that.”
Not long after, Julie weighed in on Rylie’s behavior toward Katherine during an interview with Entertainment Weekly. When asked what she made of their relationship, Julie said, “It feels very young to me. Glad both Rylie and Katherine can watch the videos and get to see what their relationship looks like while stepping back for a moment.”
Not only does Rylie’s exit come amid accusations of toxicity, there are also allegations that he had a baby while in the house and isn’t supporting his ex. Rylie’s mom spoke out against these claims to TMZ, saying there’s “no reason to believe” he’s the father. Though, naturally, fans think his lack of exit interview could have something to do with this.
As for Rylie and Katherine, his mom said, “He’s not some obsessive stalker-type person like everyone is saying. He’s got a great heart and wears it on his sleeve.”
