Nevermore is reactivating in 2025 with half a thriller lineup. In a latest interview with Steel Magnitude, Loomis credited reforming Nevermore as a part of the explanation why he left Arch Enemy, and assures followers that the band’s subsequent chapter goes to kick ass.
“Yeah, there’s some unbelievable stuff arising. I’ve had an incredible final 10 years with the band Arch Enemy. I have been part of their band, and I left the band a few 12 months in the past as a result of I needed to sort of be behind the driving force’s wheel of my very own music once more. The choice hasn’t come with out its share of controversy. Jim Sheppard, who was instrumental in founding Nevermore alongside Dane in 1991, first publicly expressed criticism of the reunion, calling it “utterly disrespectful,” even when at a later level Sheppard kind of gave them his blessing, stating: I am disenchanted nobody reached out to me regarding the title Nevermore, a reputation meaning blood, sweat, and tears. With that stated, I want them the perfect.”
